About Us:
We are a forward-thinking software house on the verge of launching a new cloud-based system on Microsoft Azure. To support this initiative, they are forming a dedicated DevOps team and are looking for a skilled Azure DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and manage their SaaS infrastructure.
Role Overview:
As an Azure DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in establishing the foundation of their scalable SaaS platform. You will collaborate closely with their development, IT, and product teams to architect, deploy, and optimise their cloud infrastructure, ensuring security, reliability, and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create strategies for collaboration, code management, infrastructure, source control, security, compliance, continuous integration, testing, delivery, monitoring, and feedback.
- Work closely with development and operations teams to streamline code releases.
- Oversee the server and agent infrastructure within the Azure DevOps environment.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using automation tools and frameworks.
- Identify performance bottlenecks and implement proactive solutions.
- Implement best cloud security practices to resolve critical system issues.
- Create and maintain design and troubleshooting documentation, and provide training and support to internal teams.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.
- Plan and implement disaster recovery measures and maintain data storage security in Azure.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Azure DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of Azure services and DevOps methodologies.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, and frameworks.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Certifications:
- Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
