Information Security Analyst

A global professional services organisation are looking for an Information Security Analyst to play a crucial role in assuring the company's security and technology capabilities against industry standard frameworks such ISO 27002. You will be responsible for identifying and actioning opportunities to strengthen controls, and reducing cyber risk.

Responsibilities:

• Assure the company's security and technology capabilities against industry standard frameworks such as ISO 27002.
• Develop and maintain the Information Security Management System (ISMS).
• Identify and action opportunities to strengthen controls and reduce cyber risk.
• Deliver security and privacy impact assessments to improve supply chain resiliency and protect sensitive data.
• Project positivity and enhance security awareness throughout the organization.
• Stay skilled in various technologies and security procedures.
• Focus heavily on governance and compliance, as well as risk management.
• Develop knowledge in Cloud Computing, Identity and Access Management, and AI/ML.
• Solve problems under highly stressful and time-sensitive situations.
• Take responsibility for complex, time-bound projects.
• Convey technical information in a concise and simple manner.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proficiency in ISO 27002, and other relevant standards.
• Strong knowledge of Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) and risk management.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools.
• Excellent operational and strategic planning abilities.
• Effective communication skills.
• Experience in delivering training and enhancing security awareness.
• Proven problem-solving skills.
• Strong administrative capabilities.
• Ability to handle incidents and respond promptly.
• Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable.
