IT Business Analyst

We're supporting a high-impact defence/renewables organisation that's in the early stages of shaping a new operational capability and they’re on the lookout for a confident IT Business Analyst to help define and deliver tech change across infrastructure, service tooling, and secure environments.

If you've got experience leading from the front on enterprise scale IT projects, particularly those involving structured delivery models like Waterfall you’ll feel right at home. This is a new strategic role with plenty of autonomy, a steady flow of projects, and a chance to contribute to the foundational setup of an exciting facility.

What You’ll Be Getting Involved With

• Shaping robust business cases and requirement sets that stand up to scrutiny
• Providing assurance on non-functional elements across procurement and delivery
• Coaching and supporting other analysts in project delivery settings
• Acting as a critical friend to project sponsors, keeping delivery grounded in business need
• Mapping and tracking benefits from inception through to operational transition
• Identifying process gaps and proposing pragmatic improvements to BA practices

We’re Particularly Interested In

• Analysts with experience across IT infrastructure, networking, cyber, and service delivery
• Candidates comfortable working in regulated sectors
• Professionals with a strong understanding of Waterfall approaches (bonus if you’ve dabbled in Agile too)
• Those confident managing senior stakeholders and cross-functional delivery teams
• Applicants eligible for Government Security Clearance.

Security Clearance:

• You will be required to work in a highly-secure government environment.
• While a background in defence, engineering or manufacturing is ideal, they’re totally open to transferable sector experience so a great opportunity to work in a stable government environment with huge investment.
