Senior Application Developer

Southern Lights are working with a high growth consumer brand to hire a Senior Application Developer who’ll lead builds across customer platforms, internal systems, and mobile services. The role

• Build and optimise mobile and web apps (React Native, Expo, AWS, TypeScript)
• Lead technical delivery, automated testing, and release pipelines
• Support junior team members and uphold engineering standards
• Contribute to sprints, agile ceremonies, and cross functional collaboration
• Drive process improvement with a focus on maintainability and UX

Tech stack

• Core: React Native, Expo, TypeScript, AWS (CDK, Lambda, DynamoDB, AppSync, S3)
• Bonus: GraphQL, SQL, Tailwind CSS, Storybook, Next.js
• Agile environment with robust peer review and CI/CD practices
