We’re working with a fast growing, product led organisation looking for a Senior Data Analyst who loves turning complex data into meaningful, actionable insights.
This is a hands on role at the heart of the business, sitting between product, engineering, finance and commercial teams, helping shape how the company understands and grows member lifetime value. You’ll dig into data, uncover the “why” behind user behaviour, and help transform insight into strategy that improves both growth and user experience.
You’ll work across the full member journey, from activation and retention through to long term engagement, giving you scope to make a real impact on how the platform evolves.
What You’ll Be Doing

Generating insight into member retention, churn and lifetime value to drive strategic decisions

Translating data findings into clear recommendations that improve the product and customer journey

Supporting new feature launches with end to end data implementation, from capture to measurement

Working hands on with SQL, dbt and BI tools to model and validate data

Acting as the experimentation expert, designing A/B tests, ensuring statistical rigour and mentoring others in best practice

Building and automating reporting that makes insight accessible across the business

Partnering with cross functional teams to guide decisions with evidence and clarity

Sharing knowledge and upskilling others in SQL, experimentation and data storytelling
What We’re Looking For

Proven experience in product, member or customer analytics, ideally within SaaS, subscription, marketplace or platform environments

Advanced SQL skills, with experience using tools such as dbt for data modelling

Strong knowledge of experimentation and statistics, including hypothesis design, A/B testing, regression analysis and significance testing

Familiarity with BI and visualisation tools such as Looker, Tableau or Mode

Experience with event tracking or customer data tools such as Segment, Amplitude or Mixpanel

Excellent communication and data storytelling skills, with the ability to translate analysis into actionable insight

Solid grasp of customer and product metrics including retention, churn, lifetime value and sentiment

A curious, proactive mindset with the confidence to challenge assumptions and influence decisions
Nice to Have

Experience with Python or R for advanced analytics or automation

Knowledge of cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, BigQuery or Redshift
-
Previous experience in a scale up or high growth environment
