Bristol, HybridI’m working with a growing organisation in the healthcare space that’s looking to bring in a hands-on IT Manager to lead day-to-day operations, shape the tech roadmap, and drive continuous improvement across a secure, high availability estate.
You’ll be the go to for all things IT, managing a small team, owning service performance, and partnering with senior stakeholders to ensure the tech setup supports both frontline delivery and long-term strategy.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading IT operations across devices, networks, cloud services, and business apps
- Running a tight service desk with strong SLAs and customer satisfaction
- Delivering small-to-mid scale projects (rollouts, upgrades, SaaS adoption)
- Owning endpoint security, patching, and identity/access management
- Supporting compliance (Cyber Essentials, GDPR, ISO 27001)
- Acting as escalation point for incidents and exec-level queries
- Managing vendors/MSPs and reporting on service performance
What you’ll bring:
- Proven experience in IT management within a 24/7 or regulated environment
- Strong Microsoft 365/Azure/Intune knowledge, plus solid networking fundamentals
- Practical ITIL experience and service desk leadership
- Security-first mindset (MFA, EDR, backups, least privilege)
- Calm, clear communicator with stakeholder savvy
- Bonus points for healthcare exposure, scripting (PowerShell), or ISO/Cyber Essentials alignment
